This prestigious award, recognising the most successful antibody company based on CiteAb data, goes to Abcam.
The category was extremely close and Abcam narrowly outshone runners-up Cell Signaling Technology, who held the award for the past two years (view past winners).
Dr Chalmers said: “This award is made on CiteAb data for the highest total number of citations (primary and secondary) for the period between January 2016 and December 2016.
“To step up and claim the number one position here demonstrates that some really hard work done by the Abcam team over recent years is now paying dividend. We congratulate Abcam on their excellent win!”
