This award recognises the supplier shining in Sars-CoV-2 research. We want to continue to recognise those responding to the pandemic by providing quality reagents to help the research community combat the virus, still a prevalent issue for most of the world.

Congratulations to Sino Biological, winners of the 2022 Supplier Succeeding in Sars-CoV-2 research award!

Rhys Bowen-Morris, who collected much of our COVID-19 reagent data, said of the winners: ‘Sino Biological responded and adapted rapidly to the challenges of the pandemic. They should be particularly proud of their sustained contribution to this research, as they were also winners of this award in 2021. Many congratulations!’

The criteria:   At CiteAb we have developed industry leading data collection technology that can identify and understand global reagent use from scientific publications. In 2020, we secured Innovate UK funding for ‘Ideas to address COVID-19’, which enabled us to develop our AI-powered data platform for COVID-19 reagents.

This data was thoroughly analysed to determine the supplier with the most citations related to COVID-19 reagents from CiteAb’s curated set of research publications.
