The Innovation Award

Has your company launched or used an innovative reagent or instrument in the past year?

Innovation drives life science research forward - helping scientists solve complex problems, explore new research areas, and carry out reproducible science. This award recognises suppliers introducing truly novel solutions that address unmet needs in the research community.

You are able to nominate any reagent type, assay or instrument that was launched or significantly improved in the past year.

How this award will be judged:

  • Novelty or need: Does the product solve a problem or address an unmet need?
  • Researcher impact: How does the product enhance research workflows, reproducibility, or experimental outcomes?
  • Industry impact: Does it have potential to influence the broader life science field?

Entries will be evaluated by our panel of impressive independent judges, bringing expertise across life science research and innovation:

  • Carl Laflamme, Molecular and Cellular Biologist, Neuro-SGC, YCharOS initiative
  • Elisia Clark, Associate Director, Research Programmes, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research
  • Robin Padilla, Director of Product Management for Digital Life Science Solutions, Springer Nature

What winners receive
